Families and the First Day of School

As mentioned in previous posts, I will meet with parents prior to the first day of school to try and eliminate the number of parent questions on the first day of school. Thus, on the first day of school I will attend to families by greeting them in a friendly way and then give them a prepared note asking that they please contact me at a later time (see example that will be posted next). By using this technique I hope to spend more time teaching and assisting students in adjusting to classroom procedures.
